Southern saying of the day

This one is a classic...

When you are determined to get something done, you might say:
I'll do it come hell or high water.

Sounds like my drive towards employment over the last few years.

Not sure that is a southern saying, it's fairly common in the UK/Ireland. Though usually as "come hell or high water." It clearly derives from the bible.
